The title of THE AGENCY's immersive performance LOVE FICTION is a re-creation of the words that derive from the genre of "science fiction" and the theme of "love". In a subversive way, LOVE FICTION takes the form of coaching, exploring future practices of intimacy, sexuality, and relationships. These practices relate in particular to hormonal interventions in the body, queer models of relationships and family, as well as a post-pornographic touch. The format of the neoliberal connoted coaching and the language of the coaches always carry the dystopian vision of a capitalization of these practices and emotions. Inspirations for this work were, in particular, the alienated proximity of the characters in Leif Randts novel "Planet Magnon" and the protocols of Paul B. Preciados self-experiments with testosterone, as described in "Testo Junkie".
